NLP describes it’s three core components within its title;

Linguistic – Stands for language and how we use it to influence ourselves

Programming – Think of your brain as a computer, it needs programming to sequence our actions in a way to create action that helps us acheive our goals.

We all experience the world differently however we all experience it first through our senses. As this happens you begin to start thinking about it and these thoughts can be positive or negative, depending on the language you use. This then has an affect on you emotional state, your body language and also your behaviour that creates the outcome. After continually using this thought process you can create habits, good or bad, positive or negative and it all depends on the type of language you use.

NLP is a safe and effective technique for both adults and children. It’s a technique that once learned, you can continue to use for the rest of your life to make your thoughts a choice instead of the outcome of an external prompt outside of your control. For example, someone might try to upset you, you can either choose to be upset, or you can choose to ignore it, re-frame and carry on your day knowing that it is not your issue but theirs and the way you choose to feel is 100% your choice.
